Jamesa Johnson Greer

Jamesa Johnson Greer, J.D. is Co-Director of Collectrify: A Frontline-Led Energy Fund, where
she supports community-led climate and housing solutions through participatory grantmaking,
cross-sector collaboration, and strategic investment in equitable building decarbonization. She is
a systems thinker and relationship builder with over a decade of experience advancing
environmental justice, community power, and public policy reform.
Jamesa previously served as Executive Director of the Michigan Environmental Justice Coalition
(MEJC), where she led statewide advocacy and coalition campaigns to reduce pollution burdens
and expand clean energy access in frontline communities. At MEJC, she also launched
regranting and capacity-building programs rooted in participatory decision-making and
grassroots leadership.


Most recently, Jamesa served as a Program Manager at Endyna, Inc., where she oversaw a
national technical assistance initiative supporting over 100 frontline organizations applying for
and implementing U.S. EPA Community Change Grants. Her work bridged federal policy and
community action, equipping grassroots leaders with the tools and resources needed to secure
transformational funding.


A native Detroiter, Jamesa holds a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and a B.A. in
International Studies from the University of Michigan, with a concentration in Global Health and
the Environment. Her work is grounded in a deep respect for frontline wisdom and a lifelong
commitment to building just and sustainable futures.
